Hello. These journals of mine are rare nowadays. There will be more soon, but I must get on the important stuff first!
Christmas. It is strange, isn't it? We get gifts for our birthdays, even expect them nowadays, but Jesus, He gifts us all of Himself, everything that He is and everything He has. It is something that takes no small amount of courage and humility to give, but also to accept.
Be mindful of what you give to your loved ones. Things will pass. Give them yourself. Give them your time, your attention, your forgiveness if they hurt you or ask it of them if you hurt them. Give them now what cannot be given again and don't wait for tomorrow. Don't let petty grievances or arrogance make you feel sorry later. Time cannot go back.
I wish you to be blessed by baby Jesus on this day for all days to come. I wish unto you His help, His assurance, His consolation, His embrace and His Love. I wish unto you His guidance and help so that you do not falter on or stray from your life's path. I wish you to be rejuvenated by His strength when you feel week and to feel His presence when you feel alone. I wish that your darkness be banished by His Light and that His Word upholds you in this world, against any assaults the Devil may throw at you. Finally, I wish unto you His loving embrace in all days of your life.
I wish you merry Christmas!
EDIT: I wish you a happy New Year! May it be blessed and good for all of you.

32nd anniversary of the fall of Vukovar
Today, 18th of November, became a Croatian national holiday in 2019 as Remembrance Day (officially Remembrance Day for Homeland War Victims and Remembrance Day for the Victims of Vukovar and Skabrnja). This date was chosen because Vukovar, the biggest symbol of suffering in the Homeland War, fell after three months of siege by the Serbian chetniks and Yugoslavian National Army, clearly Serbian army by that time, and people of both Vukovar and Skabrnja suffered war crimes that have not been seen since World War II, and are repeated in Ukraine and Gaza today. The rest of the Homeland War was coloured by atrocities committed against anyone defending Croatia as well. The inaction of the world political forces allowed for those atrocities, and those same forces hoped Croatia would not be. The beating heart of the Croats would not let that happen. I post this every year on the anniversary of the fall of Vukovar. I do this because I want people to know what has happened and to share the
Croatian Victory and Homeland Thanksgiving Day
You know, I post this journal year after year. Why? Because what I said years back for the first time remains strong today. Those of you who read this, know it is true and I thank you for reading. "Today marks the day when the Homeland War ended on the territory of Republic of Croatia. The Operation Storm ended with the liberation of the royal city of Knin and a huge part of Croatian land. We celebrate it as the Victory and Homeland Thanksgiving Day and the Day of Croatian Defenders. If it weren't for the people who fought in the Homeland War, if it weren't for the people who planned all the operations, all the tactics used and studied today by the militaries of the world over, there would be no free Croatia. Many set their lives on the Altar of Homeland to make possible the independence of my Croatia. We celebrate it all today, all of them, and give our thanks." Twenty eight years later, there are a lot of things still left to do. With courage, unity, and faith in God, we will.
A bit late, but it is alright
As the title says, I'm a bit late this year, but I was busy! Merry Christmas! May the newborn King grant His peace and His blessing to you and your loved ones! Oh, and happy New Year!
